Dennis Reinhardt
Since November 2007, I am the IT-Administrator for the Department of Human Evolution at the Max-Planck-Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology in Leipzig (Germany).
In September 2004, I started my apprenticeship as IT specialist for system integration at Deutsche Telekom AG in Leipzig. Within this time I gained my experience in user support as well as in user administration. Design and implementation of customer projects (Network, Voice, Security) as well as installation and testing of customer network hardware belonged to my daily tasks and responsibilities. My personal apprenticeship highlight is the FIFA WorldCup 2006, because I take part in the IT Department as Volunteer, support the people on IT problems and enjoy the breathtaking ambiance in the stadium.
Following to my finished apprenticeship in July 2007, I started to work for T-System Business Services Gmbh (Laboratory/Engineering, Darmstadt) in charge of laboratory user support and the maintenance of the laboratory network hardware.
In my position as IT-Administrator I am responsible for supplying researchers with computer technologies, fixing software issues and almost transparently supporting the individual workflow of all department members.
