The Conference on the Languages of the Caucasus will take place from December 7th - 9th, 2007 (Fri-Sun), in Leipzig, Germany, hosted by the Department of Linguistics at the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology.
Papers presented at this conference will deal with languages spoken in the Caucasus. A particular emphasis of the conference will be areal linguistic features.
The time allotted for presentation and discussion is 40 minutes.
Conference languages are English and Russian.

Институт эволюционной антропологии им. Макса Планка (г. Лейпциг, Германия) организует с 07-го по 09-ое декабря 2007 г. конференцию по языкам Кавказа.
Доклады будут посвященными языкам, на которых говорят на Кавказе, с особенным вниманием на ареальные языковые черты.
Для докладов и следующей дискуссии предназначено 40 минут. Конференция проводится на английском и русском языках.
