How to get to the institute

Coming from the main station you can board tram number 16 to the destination Lössnig. Get off at the 5th stop "Nationalbibliothek". Turn left, cross the street (Semmelweissstrasse) and you will find yourself at Deutscher Platz. The Institute, a modern building with a glass façade, is at your right.

Coming from Wilhelm-Leuschner-Platz or Neues Rathaus (new guildhall) take tram number 2 to Meusdorf or Naunhofer Strasse and get off at “Deutsche Nationalbibliothek” and walk opposite the Russian church on Semmelweissstrasse until the next crossing and turn left. You will find yourself at Deutscher Platz. The Institute is a modern building with a glass façade.
