Alexander Jahraus studied Linguistics and Computer Science at the University of Leipzig. In 2007 he joined the student assistants team at the Linguistics department and was involved in the APiCS project as well as several other projects maintained by Martin Haspelmath and Susanne Michaelis. Since November 2011, he has a postion as a research assistant in the Leipzig Valency Classes Project.
