Current research projects

  • The relative frequencies of nouns, pronouns, and verbs cross-linguistically [website]

  • Relative clause extraposition in German
In my dissertation project at Ruhr-Universität Bochum, I investigate relative clause extraposition in German on the basis of an annotated corpus of German relative clauses and additional syntactic experiments.
  • Audiovisuelles Data Mining am Beispiel der Ereignissegmentierung in multimodalen Sprachdaten (AUVIS)
I also work in the AUVIS project at the University of Cologne, which aims to develop audio and video data mining for multimodal language corpora.
