Natalia Aralova studied linguistics at Lomonosov Moscow State University. Her main research interests are phonetics and phonology, syntax, language documentation and language contact. Since 2009 Natalia has been involved in the documentation project “Dialectal and cultural diversity among Evens in Siberia”. For her PhD research she is working on the comparative phonetic and phonological description of Even dialects with a focus on vowel harmony.
