Daniel Riaño wrote his dissertation on the Case System of Ancient Greek (5th century bC- 2nd century AD) at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, and has been haunted by case systems ever since. He worked for more years he can remember at the Spanis’ CSIC in the monumental Diccionario Griego Español (Ancient Greek-Spanish Dictionary, the last published volume of which reaches compounds with EK- ) where he redacted more than one thousand lemmata. He has published on Greek Syntax, Greek literature, Greek epigraphy, Greek textual criticism, Computers and lingustics and, yes, rock music. He is currently working under contract at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and teaches Greek Linguistics and Electronic Humanities.
