Questionnaire on Motion in Australian Languages

Description
The purpose of this questionnaire is to gain a first comparative picture of the lexical resources Australian languages draw on for the expression of motion, and the manner in which motion descriptions are "packaged". The questionnaire should also be useful in a broader context than Australian languages.

There is a model answer to the first two modules of the questionnaire for Arrernte:
http://www.anu.edu.au/linguistics/nash/aust/motion/Arrernte.I-II.rtf (a Word 5.1 file), another answer to Module II: two Warlpiri motion-rich text fragments
(http://www.anu.edu.au/linguistics/nash/aust/motion/Warlpiri.ii.html), and an answer to all four modules for Jaminjung is available on request from Eva Schultze-Berndt ( eva.schultze-berndtmanchester.ac.uk).

This questionnaire examines the word order typology of a language.
See http://www.ling.lancs.ac.uk/staff/anna/papers/PoS and word order final.pdf for some of the results of from the use of the questionnaire.
