1961, 20.12 was born in Leningrad (St.-Petersburg)
1979 - 1984 studied at the Leningrad State University
1984, June graduated from the Scandinavian department of the philological faculty (Faculty of Letters) of the Leningrad State University, having majored in the Germanic languages and linguistics
1990 defended a doctoral thesis on the "Struktura prostogo glagol'nogo prelozhenija v evenskom jazyke" (Verbal clause patterns in Even)
1990-1994 worked as a researcher at the Altaic department of the Institute of Linguistics (Russian Academy of Sciences), specializing in Tungusic languages
from 1991 on associated senior researcher at the Institute for the study of Northern minorities (Yakutsk)
from December 94 to June 96 Alexander von Humboldt fellow researcher at the Seminar fuer Orientkunde at the University of Mainz
from June 97 to October 97 Research scholarship (NWO-Besucherboerse) at the department of Comparative Linguistics in Leiden (Holland)
from February 01 to November 01 Post-doc scholarship at the department of Germanic and general linguistics of the University of Antwerp
from 1999 on work as a senior scientific researcher at the Altaic department of the Institute of Linguistics (Russian Academy of Sciences)
May 2002 defended a habilitation on "Sintaksis evenskogo jazyka: strukturnyje, semanticheskie, kommunikativnyje aspekty" (Syntax of Even: structural, semantic, discourse-pragmatic aspects) St. Petersburg
From January 2003 a post-doc researcher in the PIONIER Project " Case cross-linguistically" (Nijmegen University; the Netherlands)
2004 JSPS fellowship (post-doc) at the Kobe University. Research topic (together with A. Ogawa) "Typology of impersonal constructions"
2005-April, 2006 Continued research in a PIONER project "Case cross-linguistically" at the University of Nijmegen (The Netherlands)
