Collaborative projects
Collaborative projects with researchers at other chimpanzee research sites have been established.
The collaborations focus on the integration of social behavior and genetic relationships of
community individuals obtained from our genetics laboratory. Furthermore, collaborations to investigate
parasitological, nutritional and endocrinological aspects of chimpanzee behavioral ecology were established with a
variety of institutes.
Current collaborative partners include:
Prof. Keith Hodges and Dr. Michael Heistermann, Department of Reproductive Biology, German Primate Center (DPZ)
