About me

I am currently a junior professor at Fudan University and a guest researcher in the Department of Linguistic and Cultural Evolution at the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology. My research interests lie primarily in linguistic typology, the semantic map theory and comparative corpus studies. In my dissertation, I have investigated the phenomenon of adjective splits in the world's languages:
