Current Research
Developmental trajectories have large effects on later life-history parameters such as fecundity and survival. As part of the inter-disciplinary Evolution of Brain Connectivity project under Dr Roman Wittig and Dr Catherine Crockford, I investigate questions related to the role of social cognition and communication development on later capacities in wild chimpanzees (Pan troglodytes verus). The population under study inhabits the Taї National Park, Côte d’Ivoire.
