Research
Establishing and maintaining strong, long-term, dyadic social bonds enhances reproductive success, health, and longevity. However not all individuals in a social group exhibit the same social bonding patterns. Within an ERC-funded project (awarded to Catherine Crockford) I investigate how endocrine mechanisms (oxytocin, glucocorticoid levels) are associated to different social bonding phenotypes.
