Research Interests
Angela Perri is an archaeologist with primary interests in zooarchaeology and palaeoparasitology. As a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Human Evolution her research primarily focuses on the nature of human-environment interactions by analyzing early relationships between humans and animals. Some of her current projects include:
- Dogs: dog domestication, dog-assisted hunting techniques, dog-related taphonomic processes
- Palaeoparasites: recovery methodology and analysis of palaeoparasites from Palaeolithic and Mesolithic archaeological sites
- Pleistocene-Holocene Transition: adaptations to climatic and environmental change including hunting technology and prey species variation
