Hominin behavioral and cultural evolution. North Africa, southwest Asia, southern Europe. Stone artifact archaeology.

Ain Difla, Wadi Hasa, Jordan. Hominin adaptation during the Middle-to-Late Pleistocene in the southern Jordan Rift Valley and their inter-regional biogeography.
North Butana Paleolandscape, Sudan. Landscape use and expansion of early Homo sapiens in northeast Africa.
East Sabaloka, Sudan. Emergence of food production and sedentism in the Sahel zone of the Nile Valley.
