Demographic history of present-day groups from southwestern Angola; ancient DNA from Wallacea (Indonesia)

I analyze genomic data to reconstruct the demographic history of present-day and ancient human groups. My current work focuses on two different regions of the world: i) the southwest of Angola as the missing link for understanding the peopling of the broader area of southern Africa, ii) and Wallacea, a biogeographical transition zone connecting Asia and Oceania.
