Current research
My research is focused on the evolution of social behavior. Social relationship, starting with the tight mother-infant relationship, have an enormous impact on the life of individuals. In particular, I am interested in how such social relationships are established and maintained.
In my PhD work I focus on the ontogeny of sociality in rhesus macaques with special interest on the difference between males and females. For this work I will analyze long-term behavioral data from birth to maturation using multivariate statistics.
