We are offering a project funded post-doc fellowship for 22 months (1.3.2019 – 31.12.2020) with a possible four years extension (if project extension application is successful) working on specific aspects of a larger project that examines brain connectomics in hominoids.
Our general interest and focus for this postdoc position is to assess social cognition and communication capacities during development as well as within adult chimpanzees in the Taï Forest, Ivory Coast.
The successful candidate is expected to design and use experimental and observational approaches, integrated with the analysis of long-term data. Under the condition that we receive project extension, extensive stays in Africa are expected to collect data on wild chimpanzees of the Taï Chimpanzee Project, Taï NP (Côte d’Ivoire).
