Field sites

Founded in 1979, the Taï Chimpanzee Project (TCP) is committed to research on and conservation of the chimpanzees of the Taï National Park, Côte d’Ivoire. We are working with four habituated neighbouring chimpanzee communities and can resort to 30 years of data including demographic data, behavioural observations, fecal and urine samples for genetic, hormonal pathogenic analyses, phenology and meteorological data.
