This type of pit is not found very{\textless}br{\textgreater}often. One of the latest examples is a square Lengyel{\textless}br{\textgreater}feature in the village of St{\v{r}}elice near Brno. A study of the{\textless}br{\textgreater}microstratigraphy of the fill has made it possible to qualitatively move the debate to a new level. The qualitative{\textless}br{\textgreater}assessment of bone micro-fragments is also innovative{\textless}br{\textgreater}for the method of micromorphology in the archaeological{\textless}br{\textgreater}context. The study also includes an analysis of artefacts{\textless}br{\textgreater}in the actual fill of feature 562, especially the deposits of{\textless}br{\textgreater}fragments of {\textquotedblleft}other lithic industry{\textquotedblright}, pottery and parts of an animal{\textquoteright}s body. The discovered situation is then{\textless}br{\textgreater}interpreted in the context of other known contemporary{\textless}br{\textgreater}features of this type. The presence of excrement with{\textless}br{\textgreater}digested bone micro-fragments in the lower layer and the{\textless}br{\textgreater}absence of a floor treatment, tread horizon or bedding can{\textless}br{\textgreater}be interpreted in the context of ethnohistorical analogies,{\textless}br{\textgreater}e.  g., as the short-term use of a faecal pit for an omnivorous or carnivorous species (bear) with a subsequent{\textless}br{\textgreater}ritual ending.}}, journal = {{Praehistorische Zeitschrift}}, volume = {97}, number = {2}, pages = {459--494}, }
