%X Numeral system being an important part and parcel of a language needs to <br>be studied linguistically, exploring through its various aspects. This paper is <br>an attempt to show the similarities and variations in the numeral systems of <br>five Tibeto-Burman (TB) languages of India. It examines the numeral <br>systems of the five TB languages namely Meiteilon, Thangal, Tangkhul, <br>Bodo and Tinkar lo. It deals with cardinal, ordinal, multiplicative, fractional, <br>numeral’s interaction with NP, approximative, aggregative and indefinite <br>numerals. The numeral classifier languages have also been presented.
