be studied linguistically, exploring through its various aspects. This paper is
an attempt to show the similarities and variations in the numeral systems of
five Tibeto-Burman (TB) languages of India. It examines the numeral
systems of the five TB languages namely Meiteilon, Thangal, Tangkhul,
Bodo and Tinkar lo. It deals with cardinal, ordinal, multiplicative, fractional,
numeral’s interaction with NP, approximative, aggregative and indefinite
