The 5th Conference of the
European Association of Chinese Linguistics (EACL-5)
The Fifth Conference of the European Association of Chinese Linguistics will take place between September 4th and 7th, 2007, in Leipzig, Germany, hosted by the Department of Linguistics at the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology.
We invite abstracts for 20-minute talks (plus a 10-minute discussion) in all areas of Chinese linguistics (i.e., phonetics, phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, lexicography, dialectology, sociolinguistics, psycholinguistics, neurolinguistics, acquisition, typology, writing, history of Chinese linguistics), including the contact languages of China. Abstracts may also be submitted for the special panels (more), as well as for panels organized by groups of participants. Abstracts in the field of Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language will not be considered.
