Evolutionary Genomics

The Evolutionary Genomics group analyzes human genomes to learn more about our evolutionary history. For this purpose we use both available software and develop new computational methods. These new methods are often focussed on facilitating the analysis of ancient DNA. The group is particularly interested in making use of ancient high-coverage genomes to gain deeper insights into population history and selection.
