About me

I am a PhD student in the CoOL group. My main research interests are in the phylogeny of the Austronesian language family, particularly the early branching structure of this family and the phylogenetic relationships of the languages of New Caledonia. I am also interested in developing new phylogenetic methods for historical linguistics, horizontal transmission processes, and how the traditional comparative method and phylolinguistic techniques can complement each other.
