Child and Nature

This is a collaborative project with the Department of Human Biology and Primate Cognition and the Leipzig Lab at Leipzig University. In this project, we investigate the attitudes of children and adolescents toward different animals and how these attitudes vary across diverse societies. If we better understand in which circumstances humans care for specific species or habitats we hope to become able to foster respectful relationships of humans with other living beings and the sustainable use of natural resources.
