ManyPrimates

We are part of the ManyPrimates project -
a large scale initiative for collaborative data collection in primate cognition research.

In order to address big evolutionary questions, scientists are in need for highly versatile and large sample sizes. ManyPrimates is a project which creates a global infrastructure for primate cognition research. Scientists all over the world develop projects which will then be conducted at their individual research labs. Afterwards data sets will be collected and analyzed. It is the aim of ManyPrimates to motivate institutions to join in comparative research, to bundle resources and thus gain bigger samples. MPI department staff co-founded the ManyPrimates project and is still involved in its further development.
