Research Interests
Coming from a background in social psychology, I am broadly interested in the intersection between culture, social identities, and well-being. I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. as a member of the Sanguatsiniq project, led by Dr Elspeth Ready and Dr Peter Collings. The project centres around food security, cultural dynamics, climate- and economic change, and well-being in two Inuit communities in the Canadian Arctic: Kangiqsujuaq and Ulukhaktok. My primary focus on the project is exploring the relationship between Inuit cultural practices and concepts of well-being using a community-based approach, with the aim of introducing tailored community programming.
