Abstract:
Lots of issues in research are due to the after-the-fact nature of the article: Selective sharing, lack of chronological documentation, lack of access, competition instead of collaboration. In order to change those things, we propose to change the publication format into a chunkified one that gets communicated as you go along. This effectively makes documenting, communicating, and collaborating an emergent process as you go along your merry research way. After three years of incubation, this is now possible: We built Hypergraph to chunkify your research, which I will demonstrate to you in person. You will learn why this tool may be of value, how to start using it, and how Liberate Science is using this as a stepping stone for a cooperative science, not a competitive science.
