Reference-assisted genome reconstruction and structural variant detection
November 07, 2019
Speaker: Arend Sidow
Talk at the Department of Evolutionary Genetics

more information

Location:
Seminar Area Genetics

Abstract:
We recently developed a method, Aquila, by which we reconstruct a diploid personal genome using 10x data, by reference-assisted, de novo local assembly. I will present results on assembly quality, haplotype contiguity, and variant detection of the major classes of variation, and comparisons to benchmark data sets.
