Registration fees

The conference registration fee is EUR 50.
The registration fee includes morning and afternoon tea/coffee breaks, lunch and the evening reception.
For payment modalities please see page “Registration”.
Deadline for registration is April 10, 2015.

How to get to the Max Planck Institute

Evening reception

On Saturday, May 2, 2015 at 7.30 p.m. there will be a reception at the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology. We will offer finger food, salad, soup and drinks for registered participants.

Travel arrangements

Participants are asked to make their own travel arrangements to and from Leipzig. Visitors from abroad should make sure to meet the entry requirements and have a valid visa (a short-stay tourist visa is sufficient). [Check here whether you need a visa for Germany.]

Public transportation

Leipzig has an international airport, from where trains connect to the city center in 15 minutes.

Leipzig has perhaps the most impressive railway station building in Germany, and convenient high-speed train connections from Munich, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Berlin and Dresden (Deutsche Bahn).

Leipziger Verkehrsbetriebe (LVB), the local public transportation company, runs a network of trams and buses that make most points of the city easily accessible.
