I'm a postdoctoral researcher passionate about using biodiversity data to explore how evolution shapes species’ life histories. My work employs comparative demographic methods on global datasets to understand survival and reproduction patterns across sexes, species, and environments with a primary focus on understanding the evolution of ageing. In addition, I have been working on implementing my research into conservation decision-making for endangered species and have collaborated with renowned conservation organizations, including the IUCN Red List, the Convention on International Wildlife Trade (CITES), and Species360.

My academic background includes a Master's degree in 'Neurobiology and Behavior' from the Freie Universität Berlin and a PhD from the Max Planck Odense Centre on the Biodemography of Ageing at the University of Southern Denmark.

Since November 2023, I've joined the Statistical Demography team within the Department of Primate Behavior and Evolution at the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology.
